Physiotherapy-Orthopaedic-Manual Therapy
Physiotherapy aims to help you feel better while giving you the tools to maintain and improve your physical health long term. Our physiotherapists are licensed professionals who have pursued additional post-graduate training in orthopaedic manual therapy and continue developing their clinical skills through ongoing education.
Your initial assessment includes a detailed biomechanical evaluation to better understand the underlying factors contributing to your symptoms. From there, we work with you to develop a treatment plan tailored to your goals, focusing on both symptom relief and long-term function.
Treatment may include hands-on manual therapy techniques, individualized exercise prescription, education, and, when appropriate, modalities such as acupuncture, dry needling, or ultrasound. Sessions are one-on-one with your physiotherapist, ensuring focused care and clear communication throughout your treatment.
We use evidence-informed approaches to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions while supporting you in building confidence, strength, and resilience in your movement.
Bone Health
Prioritize Your Bone Health at Any Age
Bone health is often overlooked until a fracture or osteoporosis diagnosis occurs, but it’s essential at every stage of life. Factors like poor nutrition, eating disorders, menstrual irregularities, autoimmune diseases, and long-term medication use can all impact bone strength.
At Integrative Physio, our BoneFit™-trained physiotherapists use detailed assessments, including a biomechanical evaluation and a biopsychosocial approach, to support your bone health. Through comprehensive assessments, we help you proactively manage and strengthen your bones. Whether you're looking to prevent future issues or address existing concerns, we’re here to guide you toward lifelong mobility and well-being.

Physiotherapy Pilates
Assessments are completed by Preya, Stacey & Anjali
IPW's Physio Pilates functions as a focused rehabilitation approach for conditions encompassed by the field of physiotherapy. The program highlights exercises that specifically target posture, core stability, balance, control, strength, flexibility, and breathing.
When incorporated alongside physiotherapy, the exercises within the Physio Pilates program play a crucial role in addressing a range of injuries. This method involves the active participation of both the body and mind, providing a challenge that, while not always simple, consistently offers enjoyment.
The process begins with a comprehensive assessment to identify specific problematic areas and a goal-oriented program that is customized to help alleviate the identified issues.
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy is a specialized branch of physiotherapy focused on assessing, treating, and managing conditions affecting the pelvic floor muscles, which support the bladder, uterus, rectum, and other organs in the pelvic region. Pelvic health physiotherapists are trained to address issues such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, sexual dysfunction, pre- and post-natal recovery, and pelvic pain, among others.
Through a combination of manual therapy, education, exercise programs, and techniques such as pelvic floor muscle training and therapeutic modalities, pelvic health physiotherapy aims to restore optimal function, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. This type of therapy is highly individualized and provides effective, non-invasive treatment options for women experiencing pelvic health concerns.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the insertion of thin, metal needles to stimulate specific points of the body that reach meridians. These stimulation points are called acupuncture points or acupoints. Traditional Chinese medicine holds that there are 365 commonly used acupuncture points on 20 meridians on the human body.
Typically, it takes 15 to 30 minutes of manipulating the needles in these acupuncture points and 30 to 60 minutes of retaining the needles. By doing so, it regulates the flow of qi throughout the body and restore health to the mind and body, thus balancing the yin and yang. The insertions of needles are manipulated either by the hand or by electrical stimulation, called electroacupuncture.

Massage Therapy-Jennifer Hewitt
What is Massage Therapy?
Massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage therapy is a clinically-oriented healthcare option that helps alleviate the discomfort associated with every day occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many chronic pain conditions.
Massage therapy should only be provided by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). An RMT is a primary healthcare provider in Ontario and anyone may visit an RMT of their choice.
Massage therapy can be used as a treatment for both acute and chronic conditions. RMTs work with a wide variety of patients in the treatment of illness, injury rehabilitation and disability.
The services of an RMT are not covered under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP); however, many extended health benefit plans will cover all or part of the services provided by an RMT. A referral or prescription is not required to visit an RMT, although some insurance companies may require this.(Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario).
Lymphatic Drainage Massage Therapy
Lymphatic drainage will help those with Post-operative swelling, those who have had lymph nodes removed, or those who have chronic inflammatory conditions. Lymphatic drainage can also help alleviate symptoms of heads, migraines, and seasonal allergies
Breast and Chest Massage Therapy
Appropriate for patients post breast or chest surgeries. Post-surgical care both with or without complications. Treatment may include manual lymph drainage, education, home care, prevention of complications, cupping, and lymphatic taping,
Shockwave Therapy
Radial Shockwave Therapy (R-SW)
Radial shockwave therapy uses high-energy sound pulses to stimulate the body’s natural healing response. These pulses boost blood flow, activate repair cells, and encourage tissue regeneration. By triggering a small, controlled inflammatory response, the therapy helps reset chronic inflammation back into productive healing.
Sessions are quick (5–15 minutes) and feel like rhythmic tapping on the skin. They are sometimes tender but usually well tolerated.
Benefits include: improved circulation, reduced inflammation, pain relief, muscle relaxation, and long-term recovery without medication or injections.
